Kawasaki Good Times Credit Card
Kawasaki offers a number of credit options for financing new motorbike and other sport vehicle purchases, and one option is their credit card – the Good Times Credit Card. There is little in the way of facts to explain for this credit card because as of writing they no longer have an online credit application process. Instead you will need to travel to a Kawasaki dealer to apply.
This card can only be used at Kawasaki dealerships, to be used on Kawasaki equipment, and while this is a downside, the financing options available with this card will be attractive to those loyal to Kawasaki equipment. Above any financing options you may qualify for, you might also be able to get credit insurance, equipment protection plans and free extras.
The Credit Plan for a Big Purchase
The main financing plan on this credit card is a low rate of 5.99% APR which lasts for two years, and then a rate of 9.99% APR after two years. When you make a purchase during the first period you only need to pay a minimum payment of $49 per month, plus you pay no down payment for purchases. If you make a purchase in the second period, this means a new minimum payment of $59 (purchases up to $10,000) or $99 (purchases up to $20,000). Any existing purchases from the first period will be subject to the new APR once the first period is over.
Do not under any circumstances make a late payment, as this defaults the promotional credit plan agreement, triggering the default rate of between 17.8% and 21.8%. This rate will apply to all new purchases made on the card and the existing credit card balance.
