AARP Credit Card
AARP is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization which provides support and help for the over 50’s. This Visa credit card offers an extensive range of rewards for your purchases, competitive rates of interest, introductory interest rates and the chance for you to contribute towards AARP’s charity for hunger in the over 50’s. The breadth of rewards you get makes this card a good choice for many, and the more you spend the more rewards you get.
This card benefits travelers the most, providing 3% in points on travel purchases, though it also provides 1% in points for all purchases where Visa is accepted. You can then redeem these points for cashback, for example receiving $20 once you reach 2,000 points. If you spend $500 within the first three months of opening the account you receive $100 cashback. This reward makes the card a great option if you have a big purchase coming up. In terms of introductory interest rates, you get a 0% introductory APR for both purchases and balance transfers. With this you can transfer an existing credit card balance and enjoy spending freedom at the same time.
When you open an AARP Credit Card account $1 is donated to the AARP Foundation, and a $0.03 donation for every donation you make.
