Bealls Stores
Bealls has its roots in the 1920’s with the store run at first as a family business by the Bealls brothers. A merger in the 80’s unified Bealls along with Palais Royal, and later on the company began public trading under Stage Stores Inc. Stage Stores now encompasses Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal and Peebles stores. Bealls is based in Texas, and this article deals with this brand, not the Florida based Bealls line of stores.
The Bealls Credit Card
This credit card helps to give you more discounts for the more you spend over time, such as a membership tier system and regular money saving offers. The first benefit you get is a 10% discount on the first purchase you make with the card. While this credit card has no formal points based gift certificate system, you can build up VIP points, and with enough VIP points you can reach Bronze, Silver or Gold status, offering you extra exclusive rewards.
The fact that you don’t get gift certificates after building up a certain amount of points may dissuade some people, but you do get 12 money saving offers each year, and exclusive savings events and savings coupons mailed to you. This card is thus good for people who don’t want to be pushed into spending enough, or do not plan on using the card extensively.
