Blue Nile Credit Card
The main benefit to owning a Blue Nile Credit Card are the flexible financing options available. These financing options can be used to spread out a large purchase, and depending on the size of the purchase you can either secure 0% APR or a low APR. There are other cardholder incentives such as payment convenience and special cardholder promotions, offers and other savings opportunities.
For purchases between $500 and $1,499.99, there is 0% APR for 6 months, and for purchases over $1,500 there is 0% APR over 12 months. The total balance must be paid in full by the end of the allotted period otherwise interest will be charged to the entire balance from the purchase date.
There are also 24 month, 36 month and 48 month ‘equal payment’ options (each monthly payment will be the same for the purchase) at a rate of 9.99% APR. This financing generally comes with cheaper monthly payments than the 0% financing option.
Blue Nile Credit Card Interest and Terms
The standard rate of interest is 28.99%, and this rate applies if you do not pay your financed purchase off in full by the given date or do not keep in good standing with your repayments. This could mean hundreds of extra dollars to pay, so make sure you keep on top of this credit card’s financing offers. There is no annual fee, and late payment and returned payment charges are a maximum of $40. For financing the minimum monthly payment will be $25. For non-promotional purchases, you can avoid paying interest by paying your balance off in full during the 25 day grace period.
