How Do I Pay My GRU Bill?
You can pay your GRU bill online, by phone, by mail, or in person. With Gainesville Regional Utilities you have a variety of different bill payment options to suit your needs and circumstance. We recommend using the online payment services as they offer simplicity, security and convenience – this service is available through the mobile web.
Pay Online: GRU offers an online account service. With this service you can make fast payments (your account will be credited in a matter of minutes), or set up a recurring bank draft. You can also pay by credit, debit or ATM card. With the automatic bank draft your monthly GRU bills are paid automatically each month. To make your GRU bill payment online click the “Login Here” button below to login, register, view your bill or manage your account online.
Pay Online with eBill: In addition to the GRU online service, there is also an online service offered by eBill. eBill does not support recurring payments and it does not allow you to manage your utility service, but it does offer paperless billing, which isn’t available with the GRU online service.
Pay by Phone: The GRU billing phone number is 1-866-269-2881. You can make a one-time payment with a credit/debit/ATM card (supported cards are the same as the ones listed for online card payments) by calling Western Union Speedpay.
Payment Fees: You can make a single payment online with a Discover, Visa, American Express or MasterCard, or an ATM/debit card (PULSE, NYCE, STAR or ACCEL) without registering, with Western Union Speedpay. Up to a given payment limit there is a $3.95 fee for residential accounts and an $11.50 fee for business accounts.
Pay by Mail: The GRU bill payment address is: Gainesville Regional Utilities, P.O. Box 147051, Gainesville, FL 32614-7051. Checks and money orders are accepted. Please include your GRU account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. To ensure your GRU payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.
Pay in Person: You can pay your Gainesville Regional Utilities bill down at the downtown office, by cash, check or money order. The main building is located at 301 SE 4th Avenue. A drop and go box is situated across from the drive-thru entrance.
