Pay My LCEC Bill
The deadline for payments due is 21 days after you are billed for your current period’s electricity usage. If LCEC does not receive payment by this time, your payment is considered late.
Pay Online: Lee County Electric Cooperative is partnered with PowerPay to provide an online account service to its customers. This service offers a suite of account management tools, and you can make payments with your checking or savings account, or credit or debit cards. Bank payments are free of charge, and post immediately to your account (you can also schedule future payments). Card payments made before 4PM are credited to your account within 6 hours. There is a fee of $5.50 for card payments. To make your LCEC bill payment online click the “Pay Online” button below to login, register, view your bill or manage your account online.
Pay by Phone: Call customer service to pay your bill over the phone (check below for the number). This service supports checking/savings payments and credit/debit card payments. Bank payments are free of charge, and post immediately to your account. Card payments made over the phone before 4PM are credited to your account within hours. There is a fee of $5.50 for card payments.
Pay in Person: There are numerous Authorized Payment Walk-In stations located across the Lee County Electric Cooperative service territory. These stations accept payments in the form of check, money order, cash, traveler’s check and cashier’s check. All payments come with a $1.50 service fee. Make sure you have your bill or LCEC account number with you. A list of available stations is provided at the LCEC website.
Pay by Mail: The Lee County Electric Cooperative bill payment address is: LCED, P.O. Box 31477, Tampa, FL 33631-3477. Send your payment in the billing envelope provided with your paper bill. Please include your LCEC account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. To ensure your LCEC payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.
Opening & Closing Accounts
New customers are not required to pay a service deposit if they are deemed by LCEC to have a favorable credit rating. If you are required to pay a deposit, the amount will be approximately twice the twelve month average, or a minimum of $200 if the address does not have at least a 12 month billing history. All commercial and business customers must pay a deposit.
