To ensure your LRCA payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.

Start Service: To start a new service with LCRA, you must complete the online application and pay a $40 application fee over the telephone. Depending on your financial circumstances, LCRA may charge a $100 deposit when you start a new service. You do not have to pay a deposit if you can prove a good payment history with your previous utility (no more than 2 late payments in the last 12 months).
