Pay My Bill Online: Online payments for Ocala Utility bills are available with MoneyGram. This service accepts payments by Electronic Check, Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover. Pay by Automatic Debit: Ocala Utility offers an automatic debit program that deducts your monthly municipal services automatically from a valid bank account. To establish this service, fill out the form provided online and send it to the Ocala Citizen Service Center.
Pay My Bill in Person: The Citizen Service Center is available for in-person payments, and for out-of-hours payments there are payment drop boxes located at the front of the building and at the drive thru. You can also pay in person at authorized MoneyGram and Western Union agent locations – a list of locations is available via the Ocala Utility website.
Pay My Bill by Mail: The Ocala Utility bill payment address is: PO Box 30749, Tampa, FL 33630-3749. Make checks payable to Ocala Utility Services. Please include your Ocala Utility account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. To ensure your Ocala Utility payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.
What Forms of Payment Does Ocala Utility Accept?
Ocala Utility accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. There is a maximum amount of $500 per transaction using any of these methods and payments will incur a fee of $4.75 ($5.25 if made via the automated phone system). Ocala Utility also accepts electronic checks free online and via its payment kiosks with no maximum amount. There is a $.50 fee for e-check payments made via the automated phone system.
Information For New Customers
To apply for a new service with Ocala Utility, visit the Citizen Services Center located at 201 SE 3rd St. The Center is open Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM. You will need to bring a number of documents with you, including proof of residency, social security and a copy of your driver’s license. Make sure you print out the Service Request form (available at the Ocala Utility website) and take it with you.
If you apply for the traditional monthly billing service, you will need to supply a deposit of 2.25 times the average monthly bill, or a minimum of $250. If you apply for the pay as you go service, you will need to supply a deposit of $50.
