AIG allows its customers to make payments online via its Internet member platform. This platform can be used to set up regular scheduled payments from your checking account or credit card (Direct Debits) as well as PayPal, online check, personal check, money order, electronic funds transfer from your checking account and to make one off payments by credit card via any device; your laptop, PC at home or your mobile phone. You can also check and manage monthly bills online and even set up regular alerts to get your account balance. Yes it’s easy to change your policy, too! To make your AIG bill payment online click the “Online Payment” button above to login, register, view your bill or manage your account online. You will enter information for your card details, including the three-digit Card Verification Value (CVV). This appears on the back of your credit or debit card. If you have an American Express-branded card, the CVV will have four digits and will appear on the front of the card. Check the payment details and click the Confirm button to process your payment. Confirmation that your payment has been submitted will appear on your screen. We will submit the request for payment after midnight on your policy’s withdrawal date.

Pay by Phone:
AIG operates an automated phone system allowing you to make payments. Have your billing account number home phone number ready or the phone number associated with your AIG Insurance account. If you are using a credit or debit card, you need to give your card number and expiration date; if you want to pay with a checking or savings account, you’ll need to supply your account number and your bank routing number. To pay over the phone, call to speak to someone. Call 844-447-5296, 1-800-254-4933 or 1-800-448-2542 for general questions.

As AIG turns 100 years old and celebrates its history, diversity, philanthropy and innovation for the future, it has revenues of 180 billion and is the largest insurance company in the world. The start of this booming insurance industry started in Shanghai with an immigrant.
In 1921, Cornelius Vander Starr traveled to New York City to visit the heart of the American insurance industry, and successfully built an insurance pool in which AAU served as the exclusive agent, writing business from which various insurance carriers would take a predetermined amount of risk on a percentage basis. As an immigrant, Starr envisioned a new type of insurance company that hired local talent to sell to local clients. For the balance of the 1920s, Starr’s general agency and life businesses expanded to most major Chinese cities as well as the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. In 1941, headquarters were established in Havana, Cuba, which led to opening offices in Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Panama.
AIG celebrates that Starr’s aunt Nelle Vander Starr, an experienced office manager, came to China in 1923 and became the first woman to assume a leadership position at Asia Life. This was the beginning of diversity and women’s power in the workforce. AIG is recognized as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality. AIG was also named to Mogul’s Top 100 D&I Innovators List, a leading technology platform for women in 2018.
Currently, Brian Charles Duperreault is a Bermuda-born American executive in the insurance industry. Since May 2017 he has been the CEO of AIG.
Duperreault’s entire career has been in the insurance industry, beginning in 1973 as an actuary at AIG. Mr. Duperreault’s desire is that people understand that all the history in the world isn’t written yet. There are many more chapters, and many more pioneers needed. The employees are not only pioneers, but also care for their neighbors. They helped make a collective impact in communities worldwide by volunteering more than 62,000 hours in 2018.
