How Do I Pay My Commonwealth Edison Bill?

Pay Online: ComEd offers an online service that you can use to view your bills and make payments (automatically on a monthly basis) from your checking account. There is no service charge. There is also an online e-billing service offered in partnership with CheckFree. This allows you to manage your account without paper bills, and make single payments from your checking account. Pay By Debit/Credit: Through BillMatrix you can make ComEd payments online with your credit or debit card, or checking account. MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted. BillMatrix charges a convenience fee of $2.50 for each transaction. Payments are posted the same day.
Pay By Phone: The ComEd billing phone number is 1-800-588-9477. Business customers call 1-877-426-6331. The BillMatrix payment service is also available over the phone, and the same payment types are supported as with the online service. You will need your account number. Payments are posted the same day.
Pay By Mail: The Commonwealth Edison bill payment address is: ComEd, P.O. Box 6111, Carol Stream, IL 60197-6111. Checks should be made payable to ComEd. Leave one week for your payment to be delivered.
