Pay Progressive Insurance Bill

Click the green “Online Payment” button above to go to the Progressive payment portal. Progressive allows customers to make payments online via its Internet member platform. This platform can be used to set up regular scheduled payments from your checking account or credit card (Direct Debits) as well as PayPal, online check, personal check, money order, electronic funds transfer from your checking account and to make one off payments by credit card via any device; your laptop, PC at home or your mobile phone. You can also check and manage monthly bills online.  You can even set up regular alerts to get your account balance. Yes it’s easy to change your policy, too! You can log in to your policy 24/7 to add or remove vehicles or drivers, change addresses, pay bills, and more.

After you make a payment, click the Continue button. Select to have your payment deducted from your credit or debit card, or your bank account and enter your billing information; now click the Continue button. Complete the prompts asking you for your card details, including the three-digit Card Verification Value (CVV). This appears on the back of your credit or debit card. If you have an American Express-branded card, the CVV will have four digits and will appear on the front of the card. Check the payment details and click the Confirm button to process your payment. Confirmation that your payment has been submitted will appear on your screen.

Progressive operates an automated phone system allowing you to make payments. Have your billing account number home phone number ready or the phone number associated with your Progressive account. If you are using a credit or debit card, you need to give your card number and expiration date; if you want to pay with a checking or savings account, you’ll need to supply your account number and your bank routing number. Call 1-800-PROGRESSIVE (1-800-776-4737) and a Progressive insurance representative can help you.

Pay by App:

Download Progressive’s APP by going to https://www.progressive.com/resources/progressive-app/

You can text APP to 99354 to get a download link on your phone. You can currently pay on the app using a debit card, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover), checking account, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal. Once you have the app, you can pay your bill by credit card, debit card, checking account, and more!

Making a one-time payment online:

If you have forgotten to check your account, missed a direct debit payment or are still waiting for your automatic monthly payments to be set up, you can make a one-time payment online. You can pay by credit card or with a savings or checking account. It can, however, take up to two days for your payment to be processed and be posted to your account. Sign into your online account and click the Pay early button or the Pay now link at the top of the page. Choose from the options Pay total balance due, Pay past due balance, or Pay in advance. Go to https://account.progressive.com/access/ez-payment/policy-info and enter your email, zip code and birthdate. You will be ready to make your Progressive payment!

Progressive Customer Service:

Progressive customer service is available through your online account or by calling 1-800-776-4737. Contact the Progressive billing department at 1-866-407-4844.

The Customer Service and sales hours are 24/7! You can report an accident, make a claim, pay your bill, make policy changes, get a quote, buy a policy, or request roadside assistance. You can also go online to chat directly with a Progressive representative at https://www.progressive.com/contact-us/ . On this page, you can send an email without logging in. View past Bills:

Progressive online accounts allow you to view your past statements. Sign into your account and click on Billing & Payments. Scroll to the Past Bills section on that page. Bills are titled “Billed (Date)”. Click on the title of the past bill you want to view.

Log in to your Progressive account at https://account.progressive.com/access/login and go to the payments section. There, you can view past bills and your payment history, change how you pay your bill, view your payment schedule, and sign up for paperless billing.

Find a Progressive service center online that is closest to your home. Go to https://www.progressive.com/agent/local-agent/, click on the state in which you live, choose the city, and you will be provided with a list of Progressive agents including their address and phone numbers.

Pay by AutoPay:

Log in to your Progressive policy at to https://account.progressive.com/access/login and go to the payments section. As one of your payment options, you can start an electronic funds transfer (automatic payments). You’ll need three things: the name on the bank account, the account number and the routing number. Set up Auto Pay and pay and the payments will be taken out automatically each month!
