With Public Service Electric and Gas Company you have a number of different bill payment options available to you. In addition to the following options you can also arrange a payment with your bank by using your PSE&G account information.
Pay Online: Click the green “Online Payment” button above to login to PSE&G’s bill payment portal. PSE&G offers My Account to all its customers. This is an online account management service that lets you keep tabs on your bills and utility usage. You can log in at any time to make a bill payment, and with the option to enroll in automatic monthly payments you can make sure that you never miss a bill. Credit card payments are accepted with My Account, although there is a small processing fee involved. My Account offers plenty of extra features, including bill alerts, energy usage monitoring tools and contact/reporting information.
Pay by Phone: You can make your PSE&G payments over the phone, either from your checking account or by using your credit card. To make a transfer from your checking account, call 800-436-7734, or to make a payment from a credit card call 800-704-3289.
Pay in Person: There are a number of PSE&G Customer Service Centers where you can make a payment in person. Locations include Bayonne, Camden, New Brunswick, Elizabeth, Jersey City, Hackensack and Trenton. These are open Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM. You can also pay at any of the thousands of Western Union locations situated across the country.
Pay by Mail: The PSE&G bill payment address is: PSE&G, PO Box 14444, New Brunswick, NJ 08906. Make the check payable to PSE&G.
Opening & Closing Accounts
Depending on your bill payment history, PSE&G may require a deposit when setting up new utility services.
Start Service: To start a new service, call 1-800-436-7734 or visit a PSE&G Customer Service Center.
Transfer Service: To transfer an existing service, you must stop your current service and register for a new one at your new address. This can be done online through My Account.
Stop Service: To close your account, call customer services or log in to the My Account service.
