To sign up for this service you will need your account number and meter number from your most recent statement. Each month you will receive an email alert to remind you to pay. Payments can be made from your bank account. Through this service you can set up automatic monthly payments. Pay by Phone: The Tampa Electric billing phone number is 1-866-300-3069. With Just Pay It you can make a one-time payment online with your checking account, debit or credit card. Be aware that a convenience fee applies to using this service.
Pay by Mail: Send a check or money order in the post to the Tampa Electric Company bill payment address: Tampa Electric Company, P.O. Box 31318, Tampa, Florida 33631-3318. There is also an overnight address: Bill2Pay, C/O Tampa Electric, 4700 140th Ave. N., Suite 106, Clearwater, Florida 33762-3846. Please include your TECO account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. To ensure your TECO payment is received on time it is recommended that you mail your payment at least 5 business days prior to the due date shown on your monthly billing statement.

Deposits are required to turn on a new electric service, and this will be roughly twice the average monthly electric usage at the new address.
