The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association, in partnership with Bank of America, is now offering the University of Cincinnati Platinum Plus MasterCard credit card with WorldPoints Rewards. Every time you use this card you are helping support both the alumni association and the university itself, and with the WorldPoints program you are also able to benefit.
With this card you receive 1 point for every dollar you spend where MasterCard is accepted. You can start redeeming your points once you reach 2,500, and you can redeem them for simple things like cash back and gift cards, or for things like travel discounts and free hotel stays. The WorldPoints program is a popular points program and it can be very rewarding if you like to travel.
The main drawbacks to the University of Cincinnati credit card are the absence of bonus points, and the penalty APR. This card does not reward you with extra bonus points (introductory or otherwise), and if you make a late payment a penalty APR of 29.99% will apply to your account.
