How Do I Pay My Valley Electric Association Bill?
You can pay your Valley Electric Association bill online, by phone, by mail, and in person.
Pay Your Bill Online: Valley Electric Association allows you to manage your account and pay your bills online with Smart Hub. Automatic Payment Plan: With the Automatic Payment Plan you can have your power bills paid automatically each month at no extra charge. You can use a bank account, credit card or debit card. To apply for this service, visit the Valley Electric Association website and download the application forms.
Balanced Payment Plan: Under this payment plan you pay the same amount each month. It works by calculating your average power usage over the last 12 months, and then estimating a fixed monthly amount. To qualify for this plan you must have lived at your current address for the past 12 months, and have been in good standing with your power supplier(s) for 24 months. To sign up for this program call customer services (see below).
Opening & Closing Accounts
New Account: If you wish to register for a new electrical service from VEA, you must first apply for membership. You can apply for membership by contacting customer services, or by visiting 800 E Hwy 372 in Pahrump. You will require at least one form of ID, and your Social Security Number. Depending on your status you may need to pay a deposit, and this will equal twice the highest monthly bill or estimated monthly bill.
Close/Transfer Account: To close or transfer an existing account, contact customer services.
Payment Support
Valley Electric Association’s Pre-Paid Metering Plan is designed to help customers who find it difficult to pay under the standard payment options. Under this plan your energy usage is calculated and billed on a daily basis, and your power disconnects if ever your credit balance runs out (no disconnect/reconnect fees). No deposit is required under this plan; however you must pay ahead for your power usage.
